We're here to help you find your way - that's what MAPPETITE is all about. We structure and design information presentation so getting you to where you need to be is accomplished in the most direct, understandable and easy way.

WHAT IS IT?
THE GUIDEBOOK/MAP CONNECTION
MAPPETITE has re-engineered the travel guide by merging the guidebook and folding map. The patent pending design layers information so that everything you'll need to know is in one easy-to-read source. You'll be hooked once you've flipped and folded.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Turn the front cover and MAPPETITE opens to a page-panel format.
The first layer is your subway/neighborhood map.
The second layer is your neighborhood/landmark/restaurant guide and map.
Terms are defined in the legend on the last page-panel.

Turn the back cover and it opens to the neighborhood guide.
Each page focuses in on a neighborhood with a magnified map and spot-on descriptions. MAPPETITE has created the WALKSEE, WANDERBUY and STOPTASTE categories to help you find your way to the best sights, shopping and food that a neighborhood has to offer.

WHAT DOES IT DO?
GETS YOU BETTER LOCATED
Thumb through the guide panel-pages as you would a book. With the MAPPETITE design you don't have to fully expand up/down or left/right to understand where you are and where you need to be going.

PREVENTS YOU FROM MAKING MEAL MISTAKES
From curbside street-eats to fine wine-and-dines, MAPPETITE sources out the city's signature foods, specialty markets and snacks. MAPPETITE never takes fees of any kind from the restaurants and shops we review. Our only concern is with the food - the slice, the scoop, the filet - and the food experience - the cart, the storefront, the dining room. We know that over-dressed, dolled-up plates of slop are, at any price, too expensive a proposition. You don't have a meal to waste, so make no meal a mistake.

TELLS YOU THE INSIDE STORY
Our neighborhood descriptions give you the essence of what you need to know - a "neighborhood-in-a- nutshell" approach. We MAPPETITE-it-out without washing the flavor from the experience. With the MAPPETITE branded categories WALKSEE to landmarks, WANDERBUY to shop and STOPTASTE for specialty food shops and markets.

Mappetite.com does not charge a fee. We keep it going because (a) it's a labor of love and, (b) we truly want you to avoid making the meal mistake.

HOW DO I ADVERTISE ON MAPPETITE.COM?
If you've got the quality products, services and events that complement us, please let us know - we'd like you to advertise on MAPPETITE.COM. Gladly for our users, we do not accept any restaurant advertisers. Nope, it's just totally out of the question. Our impartiality is one of the keystones that separate us from the hordes of guidebooks, maps and surveys with their paid-in advertisers - MAPPETITE does not take that route.
